Today we found out that Ryan has been accepted to dental school! We heard from Creighton, which is in Nebraska, and also Ohio State! We are so grateful to know that he is now in and that we will soon be starting this new chapter in our lives! We had some fun and made t-shirts to tell our family where we most likely will be going. It's nice to be sticking with the colors blue and white! :) Congrats to Ryan! He is the best hubby a gal could ask for!!! 11.30.2007

The other night we went to eat at my uncle and aunt's home and then went down to Temple Square to see the Christmas Lights with Ryan's fam. We had a great time and Noah couldn't get enough of it! It's so neat to go down there to see the lights, look at the navity and remember what Christmas is all about. 11.24.2007
Rivalry Game!
Today was the big BYU vs. Utah game and, of course, the
Cougars won!!! We watched the game with my family,
celebrating my nephew, Hunter's, birthday. My entire
family are all Ute fans and so the best part of it was struttin'
our BYU pride and being the ones to cheer for the winning
team! We had a great day enjoying time with family, eating
yummy treats and watching the game!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
We met up with a convert from Ryan's mission. She moved here from Japan about 4 years ago, married in the temple, and now is about to adopt her first child.
Her name is Yumi and she is really strong in the gospel. We spent Tuesday with her and her husband. They're visiting from South Bend, IN. We went to Chucky Cheeses and played around for a while. Noah loved the games and Jaxon loved the comotion. Afterwards we went to a Japanese restaraunt for some eats and had a great time. The cook grilled on the hibachi right in front of us, sorta like Benihanas. And of course, in lu of rivalry week, Ryan has been sporting his Cougar Tees. The night ended on a great note with Yumi's husband thanking Ryan for baptizing his wife. It made everything worth it! Life is good and sometimes we don't clearly see the blessings of our labors right off, all we can do is continue being grateful. We affect other's lives in ways that may not be immediately apparent, but someday, in this life or the next, they will make themselves evident. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Interviewing Back East
Here are some pictures of our trip back east. Ryan interviewed at a few dental schools back there and so we made a trip of it!! We left on Sept. 19th and returned home on the 30th. Twelve entire days just to ourselves - second honeymoon!!! The boys stayed with G-ma Burt in Sandy.
Our first stop was in NYC. That's the statue of liberty in the background if you couldn't tell.
Here's the Washington Monument at dusk. We traveled to Virginia from NYC at 3AM and spent a day in D.C.
