Does anyone notice anything different in this pic? Yep, Noah is without his binki! He has gone without it for four days now, and is doing great! I really wasn't sure if this day would ever come! Last week we misplaced it somewhere and haven't been able to find it. I was going to just go buy him a new one, but realized he was doing fine. He's been sleeping through the night and playing throughout the day, not even missing it. Occasionally he will come up and tell me that it is lost, but then goes right back to what he's doing. To me, it's one of those "end of an era" type things and reminds me how big my little guy is getting! Who would of thunk that after buying the "Bye Bye Binki" book, thinking of cutting off the tip, mailing it to "babies who need one" etc, just simply losing it would do the trick?!

Jaxon's 1st Birthday Party!
On Friday night we had a little party for Jax's birthday. It was a really fun night! We first went to Steph's basketball game where Jordan was in the semi-finals and then came back to the house to party with family. The best part, of course, was watching Jax dig into his elmo cake that Ryan made for him. I know, I have the best hubby in the world!!! Ryan is awesome when it comes to being creative and artistic, he will make a great dentist!
So as you can see in the pics, we gave Jaxon an elmo party because he absolutely loves him! One of the best gifts he got were a few of the Elmo's World dvds. Those things are the reason I get to shower each day! Another great one was the Radio Flyer wagon that is all terrain so we can go terrin' through the dirt when it gets warm! Ryan and I have been wanting to get this wagon for the boys and looked everywhere, but there were none in the stores. Unfortunately, we didn't order it in time for it to be there for his birthday, so we were just going to take our time getting it. The great thing was at the party my brother, Jeff, walked in with a big present that ended up being the wagon we were looking for! It was awesome. My sister-in-law, Sarah, went hunting for it and found it, what a sweetheart! Jax got completely spoiled and loved every minute!

This is the awesome cake that Ry made!

Some decorations at the party

Some more decorations and yummy cake

Noah and Jax trying out their new wagon! I can't wait to take them to the zoo, park, walks, etc. We had a lot of fun taking them to parades in it too! (We borrowed Savannah's wagon a lot this past summer!)

Happy 1st Birthday Jax!

Today is Jaxon's first birthday! I can't believe how fast time goes by, I feel like I just had him! To me, it definitely seems like time has gone by a lot faster with my second baby. I feel bad because he has been sick all week and isn't really himself, but this morning we tried to make him a little happier by making a yummy breakfast, Noah singing "Happy Birthday" and giving him tubby, which is his ultimate favorite! We were going to have his party tonight, but changed it to tomorrow for a couple of reasons... first that he's still kind of sick and second that Ryan's sister Steph's b-ball game was scheduled tonight. We are excited to go and watch her play towards taking state! I can't wait to see Jax dive into his cake tomorrow and I will for sure post some pics! Happy Birthday Jax, we love you!

New Pics
I took the boys the other day to get some pictures taken. It was a lot of fun, but reminded me how grateful I am to have a husband who goes with me to help because if I had to do it alone, I'd probably pull my hair out! I know they are both still so little, but is it too much to ask to have them both sit and smile perfectly at the same time?! :)
