It's been a while..

I realized the other day that it's been a long time since I've updated our blog! I have actually made a few attempts, but for some reason I cannot get my pictures to post. If anyone has any ideas of why I'm having this problem, maybe you could give me some tips!

Today is our ANNIVERSARY! I can't believe we've been married for six years! Every year just gets better and better. In so many ways it seems like I've known Ryan forever. It's weird to think of life before I knew him, it's hard to imagine it. I love you, Ry, and look forward to so many more years ahead, pretty much eternity. :)

So as for an update, we are excited it's fall and are looking forward to the start of all the fun holidays. It was such a fun, fast summer. We were in Utah for a whole month, which was so great, we loved being home. For Ryan, it was a shorter break this year since he took the boards. We are so glad to have those out of the way, he did great! It's nice to get back and get into the swing of things again. As soon as I can figure out the glitch with the pictures, I will post them!

Independence Day

a.k.a. the best holiday, my favorite of 'em all!

Eclipse

A bunch of us went to Eclipse and had a blast! It was a little out of the ordinary for me and a few others to actually wear an "Edward" shirt and go to the midnight showing, but we made it a fun new tradition, especially since some of our friends here are true diehard Twilight fans!

Summer fun

A fun day spent down by the river. We took a stroll on the pedestrian bridge, played in the fountains, ate a picnic lunch and enjoyed the sunshine!

Little graduate

Noah had his preschool graduation and we are so proud of him! There were a few of us who did a Joy School this year and it was a lot of fun. Noah still has one more year before he goes to kindergarten and this was perfect for him this last year. These kids are all so adorable and so smart! They did an awesome job.

We've had fun, fun & more fun

Last week Ryan finished up his second year of dental school. I cannot believe it's been a year since we've moved out here! I am amazed at how much Ryan has accomplished in his life and how much he continues to achieve! He is the reason I wanna get out of bed in the morning. He is the best part of everything and I am more proud than I can put into words!

On Saturday it was the white coat ceremony for Ryan's class so his parents along with his two brothers surprised him and came out on Wednesday night. I knew they were coming and it was the hardest secret to keep, I've been so excited! Since Thursday, we've had loads of fun and we're so happy we had this time to spend together! We enjoyed the zoo, Kansas City, Omaha, and good food. :)

Also, my brother's reception was on Saturday at the same exact time as the white coat. It's one of those times I wish I could be in two places at once. Congratulations, bro! Also I hope all you mamas had a phenomenal Mother's Day! It is the best thing about life for me and I'm blessed to be the mom of three precious little guys.

Boys are awesome

These little dudes found a new friend today,

that wore Jax out before he could even touch his dinner :)

sT. pAtRicK's

We have a tradition where we make a leprechaun trap each year to see if we can catch a leprechaun. We attempted again this year, but once again he escaped. He did, however, drop some of his gold behind that Noah and Jax found, along with some of his footprints. Maybe we'll get him next year!

Behind

I'm a bit behind, I've been meaning to post since the middle of last month. We had a fun spring break in Utah! Since the boys and I left a little earlier than Ryan, I never got around to blogging while we were there. Here's a little glimpse.

Noah had a little party at preschool, so he and Jax chose to make little robots to give for their valentines this year, similar to last year's from family fun.

We had fun making a gazillion cookies, some for the bake sale and some for us to pig out on

I've never used stencils to decorate. I had a fun with these.

The boys are not picky eaters, they love crab, sushi, etc. I found crab on sale, so crab we enjoyed!

Jax chose to have a Snowman party all on his own and it turned out great!
The snowman pinata
We had a "snowball" (we used ping pong balls) toss and the kids all received a gold medal
Jax's favorite- white doughnuts. We made little snowmen out of them.
Cheeseballs. I love it.
We visited the gateway children's museum, it was great! We ran into a lot of people we haven't seen in a while.
Celebrating Great Gma Burt's bday @ McGrath's. You would never guess she's 82!
We woke up to leave Utah @ 4am. This is what I woke up to. :)
