A Night Out
Last night Ryan and I went with my siblings to get chinese dinnner and to see I Am Legend. I was a big fan of dinner, but not so much of the movie. It wasn't really what I expected, I didn't know it was a zombie movie! Regardless, though, it was a lot of fun getting together. For Christmas we decided to give gifts to each other that we could all use to go out and do something fun as a family. We had January, so we gave out movie tickets. My bro Matt and his wife Misty have February and so we'll get to rally together again and do something fun that they've come up with. I thought it was a great idea that my sister-in-law had, so that the gift itself is fun and we get to go enjoy it all together!

Tagged - 10 Favorite Pics
My friend Justina tagged me with a fun one! I'm supposed to choose 10 favorite pictures, which is impossible because first, I unfortunately don't have all my favorite pics on my digital camera to post on the computer, and second, I have too many favorites that surely exceed the number ten! But these are a few of my fav...

This is me with Noah during his chunky days, so fun!
I love this pic of Noah flashing a little grin
Noah at his 2nd birthday party that was all CARS. I can't get enough of his cheesy, most adorable smile!
Jaxon flashing his handsome smile for the camera. He will laugh and smile for anyone and anything- I love it.
Noah being the cutest big brother! These guys are the best buds.
Jaxon sleeping in his carseat, dreaming about playing baseball
This is one of our favorite smiles of Noah in his highchair.

I love how much Noah looks like Ry! You'd think the dark hair and eyes are more dominant, but I have been proven wrong, the Burts genes are even more!
I now tag Lindsey Forrest, Lacy Swinyard & Annie Osmond
Your turn to each tag three more people!

Our Beloved Prophet

It is bittersweet learning the passing of our loving prophet, President Gordon B. Hinckley. We were sad to hear of his death, but felt happy as we thought of the joyous reunion with his sweetheart. He led such an amazing life, having an impact on so many people all over the world. What an example he was to us all! President Hinckley has been the prophet for most of what I can remember. Some memories I have of him that I will never forget include, his passion for building so many temples all around the world, the little squeak in his voice, his vast vocabulary during talks, a constant positive attitude , etc. With him now on the other side of the veil, I can't help but think of the picture of Christ hugging a man and the words, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." President Hinckley left here a legacy that will always be remembered by all who knew and loved him. Our hearts go out to his family and the leaders of our church, he will be greatly missed!

Kids Say The Darndest Things!
Now that Noah is talking more and more it is so fun to hear what he is going to say next! Lately he has loved saying prayers. He can say most of it by himself, but still needs a little help. Well the other night he didn't need so much help. I guess he is starting that phase where he wants to bless everyone and everything, including Santa Clause, the salt, Grandma Jean, lights, baby Jesus and the list goes on.
Also Noah comes with me and the sunbeams to singing & sharing time and we have been learning I Am A Child Of God. As I was putting him to bed the other night, I started humming it and all of a sudden he starts singing the chorus in his own little version which goes: "Lead me, guide me, walk beside me, help me find the 'wake up'..." It is great listening to little ones with their big imaginations!

Tagged Again!
This tag is all about the hubbies! I really feel like I have
the greatest husband in the world. He is the best thing that
ever happened to me and I love him more than I can put into
words! So here's about a guy named Ry...
What is his name? Ryan Facer Burt
How long have you been married? About 3 1/2 years! Whoo hoo :)
How long did you date? One year before we were married, but two months until we knew we wanted to never leave each others' side!
How old is he? 26
Who eats more? Definitely Ryan, but it never shows! Now why can't I do that?
Who said I love you first? Ryan did, and I was ready to say it right back! he he
Who is taller? Ryan is, even though I feel taller when I wear certain shoes, but he always reassures me that he's still taller.
Who sings better? I think we would both say me? Neither of us are too great.
Who is smarter? I won't answer this right out, but I will say, that I don't see me getting into dental school!
Whose temper is worse? I guess mine is, because when my mom refers to it as the "T.T.", the "Tongan Temper" Ryan never disputes it.
Who does the laundry? I do and then Ryan helps me fold it.
Who does the dishes? Luckily we now have a dishwasher, but we both do them.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Ry does, I'm by the door so it's more convenient to get up with the boys.
Who pays the bills? I do, but we try to stay on the same page about the finances.
Who cooks dinner? This is a touchy one for me, since Ryan is the better cook. He also likes to cook, so when he does fix dinner, his is of course better. I'm workin' on it though!
Who drives when you are together? Ryan does
Who is more stubborn? Again, that's me. Ryan is one of the most humble people I know!
Whose parents do you see the most? Well, considering that we are five minutes from both, it's a toss up.
Who proposed first? Ryan did and it was the best golden birthday I could have asked for! (For those who don't know, "golden" birthday is the age that is the day of your birthday and Ryan proposed to me when I was 19, on March 19th)
Who has more friends? Ryan has so many friends, but I would say that we keep in touch with mine more.
Who has more siblings? Hands down, Ryan! He has 8 and I have 3.
Who wears the pants in the family? We both like to make our decisions together. We're not happy if one feels like they're dominating the other.
What makes you melt about your husband? I love how genuine he is! I know everything he tells me is sincere and honest!!
I now tag...Misty, Brittany, Justina, Tawna, Kaitlin and Sarah

Could this be OCD or just a cute phase?!
I took some pictures of the work of Noah, because this is one
of my favorite things and I wanted to share it. Noah has this
thing with lining everything up, especially his cars and trucks,
but he also does it with crayons, puzzles, books, etc. I love
watching him to see the creative ideas he comes up with.

Happy New Year!
I can't believe another year has already gone by! 2007 was a fun and crazy year. At the beginning of it, we had our second baby, Jax, and that will make him a year old in February. In November Noah turned two, going on twenty. Ryan also graduated in April and then studied long and hard to take the DAT. He is now officially into dental school and we are so excited to spend this next year in Utah with family and friends!
